Melboune Cup WINNING

On melboune cup day guess what my horse won

On a dark stormy night two kids were running like the wind when they came across a village. Suddenly four men appeared out of nowhere.
The kids were stunned.The four men emerged from the village. The kids screamed like they were watching a horror movie.

Hello everyone guess what is almost here yes that's right it is almost Christmas hope you are doing specal things that week I know Iam.
Christmas is my favourite day in the whole year because you get lots and lots of presents.

Melboune Cup

Today is Melbourne Cup day and we all pick a horse's name out of a hat and I got Efficient and I really hope to WIN.

People bring horses from all over the world to race at the Melbourne Cup.My friend Isabel's horse has been scratched (I feel sorry for her)

Today we made a tie each and we are now wearing them.

At 2.00 we are going to watch the Melbourne Cup and it is going to be so much fun.

camp

A couple of days a go our class and 5b went on acamp we went to a beach and i think it was the best place ever for a camp.
The one thing I did not like about the camp was that the cabens were veryvery very small and the one good thing about the camp was the food was great it was like the best.
Some of the things that we did were raft making , conning , free swim , touch tanks , went on the barge , orinteeing and lots of other things.
The one thing that really hated was we had to wake up at 6.30 in the morning but some days it was not so hard.

School Lunches

Every day we bring our own lunch to school and some of us have tuckshop on Mondays and Thursdays. Last Thursday we all took pictures of all our lunch.
Why did we do it?
We did it to show Molescroft School in England the way we eat lunch at our school. We eat lunch at our school out side or if it is a rainy day we eat our lunch in the classroom.
How do you eat your lunch at school?
Do you eat out side your classroom or do you eat in a special room to eat?
On Monday and Thursday is our tuckshop day and that gives us a chance to have tuckshop all to bring our own lunch.
Some of the thing that are sold at our tuckshop are cakes, biscuits, pizza, hot dogs, lasagna and lots of other stuff.
This is what Eden and I had from the tuckshop for lunch on Thursday.
My favourite foods to have for lunch at school are party pies, Nutella sandwiches and chocolate biscuits.

On our camp

Last week our class and five b went on camp to a island and it was the best place ever.
Some of the games we did was raft making, swimming,coning,touch tanks ,outside games at night and Mr B fun games.

Some of the stuff we ate was heaps of hot dogs and salads and for breakfast we had pancakes and toast and bacon and eggs but for dinner we had lasagna and it was the best meal ever at camp.

The first night at camp we stayed up till 10.30 pm and I was very tied and so was keirilyn and she was in my cabin too.

My fav sport

My fav sport is bowling because I go there all the time but I hate lawn bowling I went bowling on friday and sunday last week and I maybe going this weekend but I have to save up if I wont to go and I have to save more if I won't my friend isabel to came and when I bowl you can really know when I bowl because it is loud.I love bowling because it is fun and you get really good food.

My hoildays

On my hoildays I went bowling on the last week on friday and sunday and maybe on this week end and a very happy thing happend my sister had a baby boy named deegan and he is so cute
he was 8 pound 5 and ya now he is a week and two days old and for the rest of the hoildays
I just stayed home it was pritty boring.

This year our school is having a art show and my class was paniting a big pot but the most best is that we make our own and mine had trees on it and it looks really good.

Lunar Eclipse

Tonight we are having a Lunar Eclipse and My Family and my Grandad (G.D) and I are going outside to have a BBQ and we will watch the eclipse and I think it is going to GREAT.
We are going to get our binoculars out and watch it.

The Singing Hat by Tohby Riddle

Yesterday in reading block we read The Singing Hat by Tohby Riddle.
The book is about a man sitting under a tree and falling a sleep and when he fell a sleep a bird came and made a nest on top of the mans head and the bird sat in the nest and stayed there all day longand we did these.
If I were colin Jenkins I would try and get someone to help me get the bird off.
Colin Jenkins reminds me of when I was playing with my anties dog and I saw in the tree a bird making a nest but then I saw a egg in the gaden so I took it in side and showed mum and then took it back out side and put it back in the nest.

I have two cats and my brother has two herment crabs and I maybe getting a bird but I have to look after popeye my next door nambers bird and he bittes but I am trying to get my dad to pick him up so I can clean he's cage out but once again my dad want do it because I have to look after him

I have no Idear at what Iam going to call it but iam going to get a yellow bird and it is going to be so cute and small.

The character I like the best is the pigeon because the pigeon is the main character.
I really hate the bus driver because he is annoying.
I really like this book.

Today I read Women's Weekly Kids Cooking.

Isabel's favourite food is chocolate peppermint squares and my favourite food in the book is chunky chocolate-chip cookies.
I also think this book has great yummy foods in it.
I like this book because of all the yummy foods and there are ginger bread men with clothes on.I want to make all the yummy foods.

The Ned show

Today we went to the church at our school and a man came in and it is called the NED show.There was an acrostic poem for NED it is:

N= Never give up

E= Encourage others

D= Do your best.

He came in and showed us HEAPS of COOL Yo-Yo tricks.

I really liked like all the tricks that he did.

Antarctica

This term we are learning about Antarctica. I think it is going to be fun learning about Antarctica. So far I have learned that it is a very very very very very cold place to live and I found out that scientists go there and test their survival skills. In Antarctica there is lots of ice and if it were to get hotter there, all the animals would die because the ice would melt.
